Shipment Specifications
Babylist does not currently support GS or UCC labels, therefore those labels are not required.
However, specific carton and pallet labels are required for Babylist, see below.
Note: Vendors must follow the Babylist labeling guidelines as listed in their online routing guide. The Babylist Routing Guide can be found here: Babylist Routing Guide.
Carton Label:
- Shipment Reference Number (SRN)
- Case Pack (Quantity/Case)
- Unit of Measure (UOM)
- Item Description
- Vendor SKU
- Expiration Date (if applicable)
- Lot/Batch Code (if applicable)
- MSDS/SDS indication (if applicable)
- "MIXED" carton must be clearly labeled "MIXED"
- "PARTIAL" case pack must be clearly labeled "PARTIAL"
- Mixed/Partial cartons placed at TOP of pallet
Pallet Label Requirements:
- Vendor Name
- Shipment Reference Number (SRN)
- MIXED-Item pallets containing ≥ 2 items must be clearly designated as "MIXED"
- BL-ID(s)
- Each carton on a MIXED pallet must have its own Carton Label

Is a packing slip required?

- Yes, packing slips are required for each shipment being sent to any Babylist 3pl destinations, each PS should be unique if you are shipping split loads against a PO.
- A detailed PS is also preferred (not required)
- Example: SKU: PinkBib is on pallet 1, carton 10
