Step 5: Sign up with Stripe

PetSmart and Logicbroker are partnered with Stripe to securely and seamlessly process payments.

Complete your KYC verification

After you begin the onboarding process in Logicbroker, you will receive a message in the portal to kick off the Stripe integration process. This message will link you directly to Stripe to complete your Know Your Customer (KYC) information and verification.

  1. To view your messages in the Logicbroker portal, you can go to My Profile > Messages
  2. Click to view the the "KYC Verification Required to Onboard with PetSmart" message,
  3. Click on the Stripe link to open the KYC verification form
  4. Fill out the KYC form with all required information

Note: Your primary financial contact should also receive the message via email, where they can click the link to fill out the form

Note: As outlined in the New Vendor Orientation document, the payment process will be as follows:

  • PetSmart (via Logicbroker) will pay suppliers based on negotiated wholesale costs and terms in MVA
  • Logicbroker, on behalf of PetSmart, will consolidate and initiate the payment for product costs on shipped orders by suppliers on a scheduled weekly basis
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: For cost changes the Buyer must be informed of price changes at least 90 days before effective date to allow internal approvals and processing to update our SKU master data

Invoice Reporting

After you go live with PetSmart and are receiving consolidated payments from Stripe, you will be able to track invoice data through Logicbroker.

Visit the Reporting > Advanced Export page in the Logicbroker portal, and complete the following steps:

  • For the report profile, select either "PetSmart Payout Report (for Suppliers)" or "PetSmart Payout Report - line data (for Suppliers)"
  • Select your start and end dates in the Document Filter section
  • Click Download

You will receive a file in your downloads that contains all of the invoice data for your selected date range.

Note: There is a column in each report called "Invoice Group: (Match against description in Stripe)". This field will show the date range that matches with the Stripe payment description, so that you can match each invoice with the corresponding payment instance in Stripe. All invoices in a given Stripe payment will share the same Invoice Group, which you can filter or sort by in the report.

Note: The PetSmart Payout Report - line data (for Suppliers)" will include all of the same information as the default report, but also include line level data for each order and invoice.
