What should I do with Packing Slip, Shipping Label and Shipping Method?

Shipping Labels

  • Supplier name and address should not appear on shipping labels
  • All Supplier shipping labels should show the following Return Address:

Packing Slip

  • The Packing Slip should be included inside the box before shipping each order.

 

Shipping Methods

 

  • Standard
    • Suppliers must use their own shipping account with FedEx utilizing Walgreens 3rd Party Billing account
    • Shipments must be made via Ground/Home Delivery service via FedEx
    • Shipping accounts need to be specific to the supplier's shipping location
    • Walgreens Third Party FedEx Billing Account number is 794521212 for ZIP Code 62025
      • FedEx can instruct how to utilize a third-party billing account number to ensure that Walgreens pays shipping charges
    • Do NOT enter a declared value on shipping forms
    • If a supplier receives charges for address corrections, they must invoice Walgreens with the Tracking number, PO number and Proof of delivery noted on the invoice to ecominvoices@walgreens.com

 

  • PO Box and US Territories
    American Territories, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. PO Boxes must be shipped via U.S.P.S. ONLY
    • Suppliers must use their own shipping account with U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) account
    • Shipments must be made via First Class Mail, Priority Mail, flat rate priority mail
    • Shipments must have tracking numbers
    • Shipments that are too large to ship via U.S.P.S. cannot be shipped to these locations
    • Supplier can create an invoice for the U.S.P.S shipping charges, they must invoice Walgreens with the Tracking number, PO number and Proof of delivery noted on the invoice to ecominvoices@walgreens.com
    • Do NOT enter a declared value on shipping forms   

 

  • Expedited Shipments
    Only purchase orders that request expedited shipping are eligible for expedited shipment
    • Suppliers must use their own shipping account with FedEx utilizing Walgreens 3rd Party Billing account
    • Shipments must be made via FedEx 2nd Day service
    • Shipping accounts need to be specific to the supplier's shipping location
    • Walgreens Third Party FedEx Billing Account number is 794521212 for ZIP Code 62025
      • FedEx can instruct how to utilize a third-party billing account number to ensure that Walgreens pays shipping charges
    • Do NOT enter a declared value on shipping forms
    • If a supplier receives charges for address corrections, they must invoice Walgreens with the Tracking number, PO number and Proof of delivery noted on the invoice to ecominvoices@walgreens.com
    • Ship confirmation must include the correct service level
    • Suppliers will be charged if sent incorrectly
